Beat Bigot is the recording collaboration between Bernard Bigot and Jon Greig, Jon Greig has recorded as Jon Greig, Sonus, Schizoid (with Marina Van Rooy) and Sliver, releasing electronic music of varying styles through German label Harthouse and U.K based Dedicated, plus other independents. He has also collaborated with friend and D.J Richard Hampson (Ampo / Coyote) as Schizoampo - cocaine and black Range Rovers preventing anything beyond test pressings.Other ventures include a collaboration with Jayne Compton (Switchflicker), recording a musical backdrop to poetry by Fiona Bowker (Mancunian poet).

Bernard Bigot is a 50 year old ex-punk and has been part of various bands, including Spambasher, The Corksuckers and Designer Dogs. Disenchanted with the way music in Britain was ‘progressing’ in the mid 1980s, Bernard decided to become an accountant, and it was only through a chance meeting with Jon at a Designer Dogs comeback gig that he decided to give up financial accuracy for the life of a professional gambler-and also to collaborate on the creation of ‘electrosleaze’ styled musical product. Incidentally,Bernard happens to be the younger brother of Sir Nigel Bigot, the infamous camp industrialist, whos name is immortalised in the classic new wave song ‘Making Plans for Nigel’.
