White Label Music

The ear on the world

White Label Music (WLM) was founded in 2002 by Marc Hunter and Ann Shenton (the latter the founder member of artrockers add n to x). The Label is based in Windsor in The U.K and is an independent specialist label in the field of electronic music, selling their catalogue on an international platform.

WLM work with artists represented across the electronic spectrum and release music in all mediums from digital downloads to CD and vinyl formats.
Distribution is currently taken care of by ABEILLE MUSIQUE based in Paris, France.  The label enjoys a close relationship with Licensing partners in France (ROCK MACHINE), HOANZL in Austria and SOYUZ in Russia.

WLM also offer a limited publishing environment through it’s sister label ‘Tourettes publishing’.  This provides the opportunity for label artists to feature their music in television/film and in other areas such as art installations and promotional activities.

The label’s ethos is to raise awareness and promote the music of new artists shoulder to shoulder with the work of more established musicians, creating and maintaining a dynamic pool of talented musicians working with the common goal of promoting the efforts of each others work.

WLM also host a residential event called THE SONIC WEEKEND, which gathers together artists from different disciplines on location to record and produce a unique experimental album which the label host on behalf of the artists on itunes.

Also new for November 2008 is The White Noise Electronic Music festival in Newquay, Cornwall which will play host to an international line-up at this annual event (details via the festival button on the website).
